TWISTERS COMPETITIVE GYMNASTICS

Twisters Tawa Gymnastics is an independent club based in the Bigair Tawa facility. Twisters have developed a strong girls’ artistic gymnastics programme.

Girls in this programme attend competitions in the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics STEPS Competitive Programme. 

Twisters provides a supportive environment for gymnasts with the ability and a keen interest in taking gymnastics beyond the recreational level. The club teaches gymnasts team spirit, goal setting, self-discipline and that hard work reaps rewards while having fun and enjoying the sport.

Girls are accepted into the competitive programme after being assessed and the club has had a discussion with the childs parents, so they are aware
of the commitment required.

Twisters Gymnastics are proud of their young gymnasts, as they continue to display the attributes that competitive gymnastics demands; commitment, dedication
and a desire to be the best they can be.
