Birthday Parties at Bigair Gym are so much fun and extremely popular! The facilities are clean, bright, cheerful, and child-friendly. Parents often tell us that a party at Bigair is an easy and stress free party! 

Parties are run by our Bigair party hosts, who setup equipment for fun play, run games and look after the children for you. Bigair parties include a mixture of free play and games, including games like ultimate tag, sheep and wolves & hide and seek.

Bigair Gym has a separate food eating area with tables and chairs setup, so you can bring nibbles and treats for your party guests.

Bigair Birthday parties are 2 hours in duration. You are welcome to arrive 15mins early to setup food. Please do not enter the facility earlier as cleaning is taking place. Food tables must be cleared 15mins before the end of the party duration and the gym vacated at the end of the party for cleaning.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - Please read carefully

  1. Full Payment Required

    Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your birthday party booking.

  2. Cancellation Policy

    Cancellations made more than 4 weeks before the party date will incur a $50 cancellation fee.

    Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the party date are non-refundable

  3. Party Numbers & Pricing

    The number of “children attending” includes:

    - the birthday child; and

    - all friends, siblings, or cousins aged 3 years and older who will be present and participating on the gym floor.

    Final attendee numbers must be confirmed at least 1 week prior to the party date.

    Party pricing is based on the total number of children invited:

    - Up to 20 children - $350 (Bigair Tawa & Owhiro Bay) / $300 (Bigair Kapiti)

    - 21-30 children - $400 (Bigair Tawa & Owhiro Bay) / $350 (Bigair Kapiti)

    If the number of invited children moves your booking into a higher pricing bracket, the additional balance must be paid prior to the party date.

    Example:

    If your original booking was for up to 20 children and final numbers increase to 22 children, an additional $50 payment will be required to move the booking into the 21–30 children pricing bracket prior to the party date.

    Please note:

    - Booking fees are based on the number of children invited.

    - Once payment has been made, no refunds or credits will be provided if fewer children attend on the day or if RSVP numbers decrease prior to the party date.

  4. Children Aged 2 Years & Under

    Children aged 2 years and under may only enter the gym floor when directly supervised by a parent or guardian.

  5. Confirmation of Numbers

    The Bigair Gym office will contact you approximately 1 week before the party date to confirm final attendee numbers.

  6. Head Count on the Day

    Party hosts will conduct a head count during the party to confirm attendee numbers. This information will then be reviewed by the office.

  7. Additional Children Attending on the Day & Maximum Numbers

    For health and safety reasons, additional children beyond the maximum number booked may not be permitted to participate on the day. It is therefore important that attendee numbers are confirmed accurately prior to the party date.

    If additional children attend on the day and are permitted to participate beyond the number confirmed and paid for, an additional fee of $30 per child will apply. This payment must be made after the party, and the office will follow up regarding payment.

  8. Date Transfers

    - Date transfer requests made more than 1 month before the party date will not incur a transfer fee

    - Date transfer requests made within 1 month of the party date will incur a $50 transfer fee

Procedures

  • Dress Code
    - Please refrain from wearing jeans. Wear athletic clothing suitable for fun physical activities.
    - Pant belts are not allowed on the bars.
    - No shoes are permitted on the gym floor.
    - Avoid wearing jewellery, and ensure that long hair is tied back.

  • Party Host and Adult Supervision
    - The birthday party host has full authority throughout the event.
    - Adults are not permitted on the gym equipment.
    - At least one parent must remain present for the duration of the birthday party.

  • Food and Facilities
    - Please bring your own food and drinks to the party. No alcohol is permitted on the premises as Bigair is not a licensed venue.
    - Bigair Gymsports provides a kitchen facility equipped with a small fridge, electric jug, water cooler, and microwave.
    - Kindly ensure that all rubbish and belongings are promptly packed away by the end of your party time slot, and dispose of rubbish in the designated bin provided.
