FREE RUNNING

FREE RUNNING classes are designed for kids 5 years and above. Children often start at 5 years old and continue with this class well into their teens. Bigair also offers an Advanced Free Running class that challenges and extends mature teens who have mastered the Free Running programme.

Free Running classes are similar to parkour but also include learning to do flips. These classes are full term, weekly gym classes that run for 60 minutes. Free Running classes are structured and led by experienced and passionate Bigair Gym coaches. Free Running is a high energy and fast-paced class that teaches children to move their bodies through obstacles and spaces without limitation, and to get from one place to another in a creative, skillful, fun, and safe way.

Using acrobatics, gymnastics, and tumbling techniques, athletes develop fitness, strength, agility, coordination, and skilled and controlled body awareness. Skills involve a wide range of vaulting, flips, rolling, spinning, hanging, jumping, and swinging. The athletes learn skills by working through Bigair Gyms unique Free Running Programme, consisting of levels 1-10. This covers skills such as wall flips, palm spins, barrel rolls, kongs and wall running. Bigair creates a safe environment for athletes to try new tricks and practice the art of Free Running while having fun!

Families with three siblings attending a term of Bigair Gym Classes are eligible for a 10% discount. To receive the discount, bookings must be made directly through the Bigair Gym office. Please call the office to make your booking if you are eligible for this discount.
